As much fun as it is to travel the country, seeing all of the sights and beautiful places, it’s not feasible to experience it all. Cincinnati is actually home to many destinations where you can feel as if you’ve traveled far away when you’ve really never left Hamilton County. We’ve shared how great of a vacation spot our city is here, and now we’re adding another beautiful place that will make you feel away from it all. Vinoklet Winery in Colerain is about as unexpected as it gets, but it is basically a little slice of Napa Valley paradise right here in Cincinnati and you’ll definitely want to visit.
Vinoklet Winery was established in 1986 and is the only working winery located in Hamilton County.
They are also open for tastings from Tuesday through Sunday and dining from Wednesday through Saturday.

The vineyard is situated across 30+ acres of gently rolling hills, just a few miles off of Colerain Avenue. It's amazing to think that this serene place is only minutes from a busy, popular thoroughfare.
With the winery and restaurant situated atop a hill, you can enjoy these views all year long while you dine and sip on their award-winning wine. You can imagine that it's the perfect spot to relax and spend some time with family and friends.
The restaurant is one of the highlights of the property and they serve dinner Wednesday - Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday night is their popular Spaghetti & Meatball special, Thursday night is ribs and other menu items, and then on Friday and Saturday, you get to grill your own choice of meat, along with enjoying a number of sides, salad, and dessert. And, of course, you'll be sampling the wine right along with your meal.
Vinoklet produces a wide variety of wines, so you are sure to find at least one favorite.
The winery is open throughout the week for tastings, so if you'd rather skip a big meal, you can always go with this option and still enjoy the beautiful grounds and atmosphere.
Another option is to attend one of their numerous events that are held throughout the year.
Their Art & Wine Festival is very popular and takes place every year in September. Summer Fair is coming up in July and is another great way to take in the natural beauty, delicious wine, and satisfying food of the winery and restaurant.
Vinoklet definitely transports you to a different part of the country with its rolling hills, rows of grapevines, and relaxing atmosphere.
