What are some of the best short-and-sweet hikes in Nevada?

You don't need to strap in for an all-day trek in the wilds of the Silver State to enjoy beautiful scenery and vistas; these hikes are all under three miles and boast some of the best views in Nevada! Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is one of our favorite hiking destinations in the state, as it's home to a number of short-and-sweet hikes in Nevada. Some of these treks include the Ice Box Canyon Trail, Moenkopi Trail, Calico Tanks Trail, and Keystone Thrust Trail, all of which clock in at well under three miles. For families, the Dorostkar Park Nature Trail is an easy, 1.5-mile moderately trafficked loop trail that's located off Mayberry and Aspen Glen Drives in Reno. Alongside the Truckee River, hikers are treated to beautiful views. We also recommend the White Domes Loop Trail. One of the more popular hikes in the Valley of Fire State Park, this easy 1.3-mile, well-marked loop hike features sandy terrain, a natural arch, and a slot canyon, making it one of the most scenic in the Silver State!
