Wyoming offers several corn mazes with additional activities for a fun autumn experience.
Fall in Wyoming just isn't fall without a corn maze and, thankfully, there are a handful of corn mazes in Wyoming that offer an idyllic autumn experience. As they've grown in popularity, the cornfields in Wyoming with mazes have been offering more and more activities to make your day complete. From refreshments to pumpkin patches and tons of fun stuff for kids of all ages, you'll have an awesome time at any one of these terrific Wyoming corn mazes.
1. Ellis' Harvest Home
Two miles west of Lingle is the Ellis' Harvest Home spread, with acres and acres of corn to cut a maze through. Like some of the other corn mazes this year, Ellis' Harvest Home paid homage to the eclipse with their maze theme. In addition to winding your way through the corn stalks, other activities at this corn maze include games, picking your own pumpkin from the patch, and there's a "corn box" for the kids to play in, similar to a sandbox, but with corn. Open from late September through late October, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sundays
Open on Fridays 2-6 p.m. starting late October.Get a closer look at Ellis Harvest Home:
2. SonHarvest
Families from all over Fremont County have enjoyed the a-maze-ing corn mazes SonHarvest creates. In addition to a full-sized maze for the grownups, there's a mini-maze for the kids plus horse-drawn hayrides and a pumpkin patch. Open every day from 9 a.m. to dark through the end of October.
3. Gallagher's Corn Maze
The Gallaghers started growing sweet corn years ago, in part to produce feed for their all-natural beef and pork. Cutting a maze into the acres of corn crops was a natural next step and the perfect way to celebrate the harvest. In addition to the corn maze, you can also explore a hay bale maze, visit the farm animal petting zoo, and go pumpkin picking in the patch. There are even food concessions at this incredible attraction. Open every weekend through October 30th from 11 a.m. to sundown on Saturdays and from 2 p.m. to sundown on Sundays.
4. Green Acres Corn Maze
What Wyoming may lack in the number of corn mazes is all made up for at the Green Acres Corn Maze. This year, the 10-acre maze honors the 75th anniversary of Curious George while also giving a nod to the eclipse. Once you've made your way through it, there are ample activities to keep you entertained for hours including a petting zoo, a bounce pillow, a hay bale maze, a corn pit, apple target shooting, and gemstone mining. Open through October 31st, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. Sundays
