The One Walk Above The Trees In Montana That’s Beautiful Any Time Of Year
Whitefish Mountain Resort in Montana offers a unique treetop walk adventure with stunning views and wildlife spotting opportunities.
One of the many (and we do mean many) reasons that life in Montana is so amazing: You can do pretty much anything. From whitewater rafting to fly fishing to ice climbing (if you're so inclined), the Treasure State is an outdoor adventurer's paradise. And thanks to Whitefish Mountain Resort, you can even take a walk above the trees.
Walk in the Tree Tops is a three hour adventure you'll never forget.
The trailhead begins about 1.5 miles from the Whitefish Mountain base lodge, and it begins with a one mile bike ride to a clearing amid a large stand of trees (or you can opt for a motorized shuttle if you'd prefer).
Before you know it, you'll be on a narrow boardwalk canopy 70 feet above the ground, offering a bird's eye view of Whitefish Lake and the surrounding valley.
Walking along the planks is exhilarating.
Not only will you get to walk high above the trees, you'll learn all about the local wildlife.
And if you book your adventure early in the morning or late in the afternoon, you're most likely to spot some wildlife yourself.
This is the only treetop walk of its kind, and it's a totally unique experience.
Children 10 years are older are welcoming to join you on the walk, but they must be at least 54" tall. And, of course, everyone should be fairly comfortable with heights.
Contact Whitefish Mountain Resort to book your treetop adventure this summer.
Not only is it exhilarating, it's just plain fun.
