1. The Hidden Lakes Trail, Gallatin County
There are eight hidden lakes in the Gallatin Range between Bozeman and Big Sky, and a six mile trail to hike around them.
From Highway 191, take a left at Portal Creek Road and drive about four miles up the canyon until you reach a fork in the road. Go right and continue to the Hidden Lakes trailhead parking area.
2. Woodbine Falls, Beartooth Mountains
The hike to Woodbine Falls is a nice, easy, peaceful walk. And once you're there, you get to look at a beautiful waterfall.
3. Gatiss Gardens, Kalispell
Need to relax without leaving civilization? Head to the beautiful Gatiss Gardens, located just outside of Kalispell.
4. Camp Paxson, Seeley Lake
Camp Paxson is a beautiful campground located on the shores of Seeley Lake with stunning views and amenities like a dining hall, restrooms, and showers.
5. Piegan Pass, Glacier National Park
This is the perfect spot to clear your head (or do some serious thinking).
6. Walling Reef, Bob Marshall Wilderness
Catch a sunrise here and you'll feel nice and relaxed all day.
7. Crystal Lake, Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness
Crystal Lake may be too shallow for fishing, but it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature.
8. U-Valley, Going-to-the-Sun Road, Glacier National Park
Not a bad view...
9. Holland Falls
You'll find this beautiful waterfall near Condon. The three mile (round trip) hike, which includes views of Holland Lake, is good for all fitness levels and very relaxing.
