You come upon a beautiful waterfall.  Or maybe it is actually hidden within a bustling city!  We already know Missouri is beautiful; however, these hidden destinations are truly magnificent. 1. Hodgson Mill Waterfall

Located is Ozark County near Sycamore, you can find this waterfall at the Hodgson Watermill along Highway 181 near Bryant Creek. This incredible landmark is also part of our waterfall road trip in Missouri.

2. Dogwood Canyon

Dogwood Canyon is a popular hiking area near Branson, which is no mystery given that it's a beautiful 10,000-acre nature preserve. This waterfall is only one of the many you can find there.

3. Grand Falls

4. Meramec Spring Park

Meramec Spring Park boasts the 5th largest spring in the state of Missouri. It is located near St. James and is run by the James Foundation. Plus, Meramec Spring Park is easily one of the most underrated parks in Missouri.

Can't quite make it out of the city? Well CityGarden Park is an oasis right in the middle of downtown St. Louis!

Located about a mile away from the I-370 bridge.

7. Cotton Rocks

Cotton Rocks Falls is located near Branson, Missouri. There's a trail at the entrance of Westgate Resorts that will take visitors to the waterfall.

8. Marble Creek

Located in the Mark Twain National Forest, Marble Creek Falls is one of the most unique of Missouri's hidden waterfalls. The Marble Creek portion of the Ozark Trail will lead hikers to this beautiful destination.

9. Forest Park

Another great inner-city find is Forest Park in St. Louis. Without a doubt, this waterfall destination is a true hidden gem in Missouri.

10. Waterfall Park

This waterfall is located along a trail in Waterfall Park in Independence, Missouri. Waterfall Park is located across an 18-acre lake from Bass Pro Shops.

11. Rocky Falls

Another gorgeous find in the Ozarks, Rocky Falls also happens to make for an excellent waterfall swimming hole in Missouri.
