Rocky Falls is located in the Stegall Mountain Natural Area. This neat shut-in features a 40-foot cascading waterfall with a nice pool at the bottom. It's perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.
In my opinion, it's one of the best swimming holes in Missouri, and you really must experience it for yourself.
The National Park Service owns this land and maintains a picnic area and a gravel parking lot for access to this amazing spot near Eminence, Missouri. A pit toilet is also nearby.

If you're feeling particularly adventurous, the Ozark Trail intersects Rocky Creek about a half mile downstream via a roadbed that follows the creek.

Getting there: From Winona, travel 9 miles north on Highway H. Turn right (east) on Highway NN and follow it for 2 miles and turn right (south) onto Shannon County Road 526. Go 0.3 mile and bear left to the road fork to the picnic ground and parking area. A short trail leads to the falls.
