Next time you've got your bucket list out or you're on the hunt for an outdoor adventure, consider this 10,000-acre nature park in Missouri that offers something for everyone. Escape to a tiny piece of paradise when you visit the sprawling Dogwood Canyon Nature Park in Lampe that promises plenty to do both outdoors and indoors.

Seasonal day tickets for Dogwood Canyon begin at $15 a day and feature a slew of amenities, including access to the Dogwood Mill and Artifact Display, hiking trails, and the treehouse. Additional adventures, such as horseback riding, can be added to your daily ticket.

Of course, you'll probably want to prioritize what you want to do during your visit. Start with a visit to the Nature Center, which regularly holds interactive experiences, including Nature Labs and Discovery Stations.

Then, head outdoors for a hike along some of the nine miles of trails, 6.5 of which are paved. Be sure to stop and explore the majestic treehouse previously featured on the popular Animal Planet show Treehouse Masters.

And, keep an eye out for spectacular wildlife during your hike in Dogwood Canyon. You can also embark on several adventures (additional fee required), including...

A wildlife tram tour. The two-hour tour, which will also take you into Arkansas, will give you an up-close view of wandering bison and elk, an "1800s style" wedding chapel, and majestic waterfalls.

Or, sign up for the one-hour or the 2.5-hour horseback riding tour that will take you along the picturesque Little Indian Creek.

The spectacular nature park also offers segway tours, self-guided fishing expeditions, and bike paths. Bring your own bike or rent one at the park.

Then, when you're hungry, head to Mill & Canyon Grill Restaurant, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the park and a delicious meal. Order such delightful dishes as the BBQ pork sandwich, the fried catfish sandwich, or the grill cheese and ham.
