Maine is full of beautiful state parks. In fact, it's home to 32 state parks and four national parks. So when the weather is nice, it makes sense that Maine is at the top of the list for day trips and vacations. There is one state park that is a little more quaint and quiet, making it perfect for a family looking to escape reality for a day. And even though it's small, you certainly won't be bored.
