The Roadside European Farmers Market In Maine Offers Delicacies From All Over The World
Bangor's European Market offers a year-round farmers market with diverse local and international goods.
One of our favorite things about Maine is the availability of local goods and produce. Maine residents love sharing with the community, and that's just one of the reasons we're lucky to call the state home. This can be seen in the many farmers markets that exist across the state. The only problem is that they become fewer and harder to come by when the weather gets chilly. One of the few exceptions is this roadside stand in Bangor that not only operates year-round but also offers foods and goods from all over the world.
Located just off of Buck Street in Bangor you'll find Ingrid's Gift Shop. And just next to that is the Sunnyside Greenhouse. That's where things come alive every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at Bangor's European Market!
There are so many local vendors here, including Sunset Acres Farm & Dairy, that you'll want to plan your purchases ahead of time or risk leaving with everything.
The market features vendors from all over the area, but each one offers something special and unique.
In addition to things like fruits and vegetables, you'll also find incredible baked goods made using recipes from all over.
In addition to European goods and foods, you'll also find great Asian dishes and Mexican food from vendors like Las Dos Hermanas.
Stop by to pick up ingredients for dinner.
But be sure to get some fun treats, too!
You can even enjoy some while you shop.
Along with food, visitors can also browse through crafts and home goods including tea towels.
