I hope all you readers are staying warm, despite the chilly turn our wonderful weather has taken. Some prefer the warm breeze of Kentucky summers to the frigid air of our winters. The cold does serve a purpose, which is is one thing all can agreed on, whether you like snow or not. Kentucky is absolutely gorgeous with that crisp, white blanket of snow spread across her rolling hills, cities, mountains and forests. Our state is pretty as a postcard even when it is far too cold to venture out… for some of us.

20. Holly Berries
The Holly bush and berries look as if they sank in snow, but the snow sank into the bush.
19. A glass tree?
No, but it surely looks like one. The ice seemed to just attach itself and meld around the branch, giving the look of glass.
18. Asbury statue
The ice and snow on this statue in Asbury give it a whole new look, especially the ice sickle brimmed hat.
17. Snow covered tree
This tree seems to stand out alone in the snow with the homes in the background. Making the photo black and white just intensified the beauty.

A light frosting over the creek just brightens up the place in the winter. The snow makes a perfect frame for the water.
