One of the best places to see these beautiful colors is at Anna Ruby Falls in Georgia. This waterfall is just outside of Helen, and we admit, it's gorgeous at any time of year, but it's especially amazing in the autumn. The hike to Anna Ruby Falls is short and sweet. That's one of the reasons why this waterfall is so popular!

This area is one of the most stunning in the state when it comes to fall foliage. We are a bit biased, sure... but just look at those colors! If you can time your hike during Georgia's peak fall foliage, you're in for a treat.

Anna Ruby Falls is actually a pair of waterfalls.

They are formed by two Georgia creeks: Curtis Creek and York Creek. The two combine to make Smith Creek.

The highest of the two falls plunges 153 feet and is quite the impressive drop.

You can get a great scenic view of the landscape from the observation deck.

The nearby Lion's Eye Trail is a 0.1-mile walk. It contains interpretive signs written in Braille to describe the beautiful landscape to those who are visually impaired.
