This easy-to-navigate trail totals only about one mile following a paved path, which makes it ideal and accessible for young families, dogs, and hikers of all levels. The path itself is beautiful, but the promise of a double waterfall at the end of the Anna Ruby Falls Trail is simply the cherry on top.

Nestled in the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest awaits the Anna Ruby Falls Visitor Center, where hikers can stop in for information, local crafts, shopping, picnicking, and even fishing.

At the .15 miles mark of the trail, hikers are treated to Smith Creek. Fast-moving water cascades over rocks, creating small waterfall effects, giving visitors a peek of what is yet to come.

Even with the ease of the Anna Ruby Falls Trail, there is no need to rush. Slow down, unwind, and relax in this North Georgia forest with the help of benches along the way.

At the end of the trail and when the sound of gushing water is at its peak, the path shifts from pavement to wooden platforms. Two wooden platforms provide a full view of both waterfalls, stemming from Curtis Creek and York Creek, both of which eventually feed into Unicoi Lake.

Roaring just beyond the viewing platforms are the double waterfalls flowing down Tray Mountain. The larger falls of the two, the Curtis Creek Waterfall plummets over 150 feet to reach Smith Creek below.

Expect to spend about 30 minutes completing this trail, but with benches provided along the way and plenty to see, hikers are welcome to indulge at a comfortable pace. This spectacular hike will leave visitors with a relaxing experience and breathtaking views, easy to be enjoyed by all.
