This loop will take guests deep into the forest and back out, for a total of around five miles.

Hikers will start at the Barr Street Trailhead and head east until they reach a clearing.

There are tons of things to see along the way, especially when the trail converges with the river and runs parallel.

This has been determined to be an all-skill-level hike because of the minimal elevation changes throughout.

But in addition, The American Hiking Society has named Little Big Econ State Forest as one of the country’s most family-friendly hikes!
