Get Lost In This Beautiful 120-Acre Lavender Farm In Arizona

Next time you're in the mood for a quick day trip, look no further than Windy Hills Lavender Farm. Nestled in the quaint small town of Heber, this underrated destination spans 120 acres of pale purple beauty. There's also a farm store will all sorts of lavender-infused goodies!

Tucked away in the Arizona high desert about 10 miles north of Heber, Windy Hills Lavender Farm is a homegrown family operation.

In 2009, their first crop was planted on the 120-acre site of the Red Hawk Ranch... and the rest was history.

Planting an average of 1,500 lavender plants each year, the farm boasts several different varieties.

The types you'll see include Grosso, Provence, & Royal Velvet.

Since the farm itself is a bit out of the way, the family decided to open a more easily accessible boutique off the main road in Heber.

You'll find it on Stone Bridge Trail, and hours are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day except Wednesday.

Quaint and unassuming, the store is easy to pass by if you aren't looking for it.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled—there's so much lavender goodness waiting inside, and missing your chance to peruse the selection would be a crying shame.

Once inside, you'll be blown away by all the lavender products available.

From infused olive oils to soaps and other beauty products, there's a little bit of everything.

What's more, the family has planted around 2,500 lavender crops at the boutique, turning it into a miniature farm.

This new venture features an even wider variety of lavender than the main farm, and the aroma is simply intoxicating.

So come hang out for a while and allow the sight of lavender plants gently blowing in the wind guide you ever-closer to inner peace.

You'll probably leave with armfuls of lavender-themed goodies, too!
