Located in Gilbert, Goats With Horns Animal Sanctuary takes in a variety of critters from goats to cows to cats. These animals are either unwanted, have been abandoned, or are in need of rehoming. Whatever the reason, this farm provides a safe, loving home for them to heal and live in a nurturing environment. And visitors are allowed to come and interact with the animals for a wonderful experience!
Each animal that arrives at the sanctuary has a backstory.
A few of the goats on the property were excess from the dairy industry while some were found on the side of a road or wandering around a neighborhood.
One of the pigs brought here was unable to stay with its owners due to HOA rules in their neighborhood.
A couple of the sheep were rescued from a 4H auction.
Chickens here have been rescued from the egg industry.
Farm animals have been brought in from around the country as it is a safe place for them to be.
Since the mission of the sanctuary is "to strengthen the bond between humans and animals," you can arrange a time to visit on a weekend, by appointment only.
Visitors are encouraged to bring snacks for the animals. They enjoy bananas, apples, carrots, and many other fruits and veggies!
