Here’s The Ultimate Bucket List For Montanans Who Are Obsessed With Waterfalls

With all due respect to TLC, we think chasing waterfalls is a good thing. And in Montana, it happens to be the perfect socially distant activity. The Treasure State is home to at least 120 known waterfalls — and while it would be next to impossible to see them all, it certainly wouldn’t be too difficult to see the ones on this list. Here are 11 of our favorite local falls.

Exploring Montana is always an adventure, but there’s so much to see beyond our borders! Sign up for our Bucket List Newsletter to see must-visit destinations throughout the nation and inspire your travels, both near and far.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
