After Exploring The Trails, Be Entertained By Prairie Dogs At Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park In Montana

Stretch your legs, and be charmed by black-tailed prairie dogs at Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park. The adorable antics of these animals are worthy of a quick detour in your comings or goings across the southeast corner of the Treasure State.
Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park is located in Greycliff, right off of I-90. The park contains 98 acres and sits at an elevation of 3,600 feet.
There are no restrooms here, but head to the nearby town of Big Timber for facilities, including restaurants and gas stations.
Are you looking for inspiration from some local trails in Montana? Drinking Horse Mountain Trail is a moderately challenging, 2.1-mile loop near Bozeman.
You may be fortunate to come upon bighorn sheep or wild mustang horses.
