These rankings were based on analysis of academic and student life data from the Department of Education.
Hobson Public Schools earned a B rating from Niche.com based on their quality teachers and solid academics programs. Their college prep scores, however, were average.
Missoula High School District also earned an overall B grade from Niche. "Forward Thinking, High Achieving" is the district's tagline, and the educators work hard to enhance the student engagement.
Hamilton Public Schools had solid ratings for teachers, academics programs and clubs and activities, earning them the number 10 spot on the "best schools" list.
Frenchtown Public Schools ranked 9th on the list for their awesome academics and good college prep courses.
8. Great Falls
Great Falls High School District definitely has some great teachers, good college prep courses and a healthy selection of clubs and activities, helping it rank 8th on the list.
7. Hot Springs
How does a tiny town of less than 600 people make a list like this? Well, according to the data studied, Hot Springs Public Schools have great teachers and academics. They also had a high diversity score, which helps.
Not only is Philipsburg a charming town, it has some great schools. Philipsburg Public Schools scored and A+ rating for teachers and a B+ in academics.
The Flathead High School District earned Kalispell the number 5 spot on the list. And with excellent clubs and activities, great teachers and academics, it's easy to see why.
Corvallis Public Schools earned an overall grade of a B+ from Niche thanks to the fantastic teachers and academics.
Victor is a tiny town nestled in between the Bitterroot Mountains and the Bitterroot River. In addition to being peaceful and picturesque, its local school district is ranked sky-high in academics, teachers and health and safety.
2. Gallatin Gateway
If your children attend classes in the Big Sky School District, they're very lucky. The district earned A ratings for academics, teachers and college prep, meaning the students here have some serious potential to go places.
The tiny town of Dutton, located 37 miles northwest of Great Falls, holds the title of Best School District. Their overall niche grade is an A, and they scored well in nearly every category. That being said, Dutton has a population of 316, so take this data as you will.
