The burgers at Hinkle's will have you feeling nostalgic for the burgers you grew up eating from classic diners and drive-ins. Since 1930, Hinkle's has been serving up freshly ground thin and greasy burgers. For an authentic taste and trip down memory lane, you need to put Hinkle's on your burger bucket list. A staple for Purdue students, Triple XXX is another diner/dive type restaurant offering up some pretty unique and freshly made burgers. This craft burger joint in northwestern Indiana will completely change your mind about what a burger should be. Try their burger of a month or another top-rated burger combo. The New White Steamer (formerly just the White Steamer) in Washington is a pretty historic burger joint. This popular Scottish pub can be found on the bustling street of Mass Ave, in downtown Indianapolis. While their brews and appetizers like scotch eggs are often raved about, their enormous burger is one you have to try. Made thin with a combination of worcestershire sauce and spices, this burger requires you to fold it in quarters to fit it on the bun.
