1. Williamsport Falls

2. The Seven Pillars of Peru

Though it sounds outrageously exotic, the Seven Pillars of Peru is located in Indiana, and it's a fascinating geological wonder unlike any others you'll find in the Midwest. Formed by centuries of river erosion, the Seven Pillars look amazing when the river water levels are normal, or close to normal. This is one of the most unusual natural wonders of Indiana that you'll want to take lots of pictures of, so bring the camera!

Indiana has several cave systems, and this one is by far one of the most breathtaking. Marengo Cave is just one stop on the amazing Indiana Cave Trail, and it's one of those experiences you will never, ever forget.

4. The Arch at Portland Arch Nature Preserve

The Arch, nestled within Portland Arch Nature Preserve, is another stunning geological wonder that we simply can't get enough of. It's gorgeous all year 'round, but in the summer, it takes on a special beauty, becoming like something out of a J.R.R. Tolkien story. Should you embark upon the North Trail, you'll come across this distinctive natural arch spanning across the trail. When it's covered in moss, it's extra awe-inspiring.

5. The Dunes, Indiana Dunes National Park

The dunes at Indiana Dunes National Park are one of the most incredible natural wonders of Indiana, in our eyes. Though the rest of the state contains geography like plains, wetlands, and woods, Indiana Dunes is exactly that - incredible, mature sand dunes, lining the shores of Lake Michigan.
