Miner-Dunn Has Been Serving The Best Burgers In Indiana Since 1932

Let's cut straight to the chase here: fans of deliciously juicy, gigantic, perfectly-prepared burgers will have a few reasons to celebrate upon finishing this article; namely, they'll have a new place (or will have been reminded of an old place) to check out in their never-ending quest to find THE ultimate Hoosier burger. Seekers of the best burgers in Indiana will want to add Miner-Dunn Hamburgers to their to-do list as soon as humanly possible; not only is it one of our favorite places in Indiana to eat, but it's also one of our oldest little burger joints, having been around serving up happiness since 1932!

Part of what makes Miner-Dunn Hamburgers so extraordinary is that it started during the Great Depression.

Two gentlemen by the names of Miner and Dunn started a burger stand with $80, a wing, and a prayer, and before they knew it, they were the #1 stop in town for juicy, delicious burgers.

Today, nothing much has changed other than the century and, sometimes, the specials menu.

Miner-Dunn Hamburgers serves up more than JUST burgers, but if you were to come in here and NOT order one, well, you might just be doing yourself a disservice there.

The burgers are huge and easily the best in the state; every last one is made with love, the exact same way it's always been made.

You'll also have a selection of soups (the chili is to die for), salads, sandwiches, and about a dozen options when it comes to burger flair (our favorites are probably the nacho burger and the Major-Dunn burger, but they're all great).

Do your best to save room for a big ol' milkshake, or maybe some delicious soft-serve ice cream.

Oh, and while you're at it, try the other thing Miner-Dunn is famous for - its housemade orange sherbet

There's also pie, but honestly, it always comes back to one thing...

Next time you're hungry, skip the fast food joint and head out to Highland.

No matter which part of the state you're coming from, you'll more than likely agree that the drive was 100% worth it.
