Then, embark upon the lengthy but worthwhile adventure that is the Adventure Hiking Trail, which is a 25-mile loop trail that meanders through O’Bannon Woods State Park. It’s home to amazing ridges, valleys, and views of the Ohio River. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for sinkholes and caves along the way. Shades State Park is home to some of the most amazingly beautiful hikes in Indiana, like Trail 7 to Trail 8, which you’ll then want to follow to Trail 1 for great views of features like the Devil’s Punch Bowl and Silver Cascade Falls.
