Situated on a 26,000-acre lake in Southern Illinois, Fishhouse is a casual seafood restaurant with the best sights, smells, and tastes. When you're looking for a casual place to eat that's easy on the wallet, this fabulous joint is the perfect place to visit.

Even when the weather does not allow for patio seating, this lakeside seafood restaurant is still a lovely place to dine. The interior is rustic and nautical, making you feel like you're on the inside of a boat.
Fishhouse has a simple menu that will please any seafood lover. You can order fried fish by the pound or have it prepared in a taco. The restaurant also serves fried shrimp.
At most, you'll pay $12.99 for a whole pound of fried fish.
Additional menu items include burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, soups, salads, hushpuppies, and potato salad. There are also a plethora of amazing appetizers like fried cheese, funnel cake fries, fried mushrooms, and onion rings.
Sandwiches start around $7 and appetizers are only about $5 each.
This amazing lakeside seafood restaurant is only open four days a week. Stop by Thursday between 4 and 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
