The Frozen Wine Slushies From This Washigton Vineyard Are A Delicious Summer Treat

Frozen wine slushies, also known as Frosé, have increased in popularity in recent years... and if you've ever had one, you know why. These delicious delicacies are available at a few eateries and wine bars across the state, but if you happen to be in the Chelan area, you should definitely treat yourself to a Frosé from Radiance Winery. Their downtown Manson tasting room has an all-seasons patio to enjoy while you sip.

Radiance Winery has two locations, both of which are worth paying a visit.

The original winery and tasting room is in a beautiful barn overlooking Lake Chelan in Manson.

But if it's Frosé you're seeking, you'll want to head to the downtown Manson location.

It's open from Friday - Monday, from noon until 7 p.m. (5 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays).

Radiance started selling their frozen wine slushies a few years ago, and they were an instant hit.

You can choose between the classic, made from Syrah Rosè, or the flavor of the day.

You can also do a tasting and sample some of Radiance's best wines.

They make a variety of whites, reds, and of course, that signature Rosé.

Radiance got its start in 2012, when the family saw their first commercial harvest while simultaneously restoring their century-old barn.

The wine maker, Jeff Crowder, graduated from Washington State University's Enology Program. And since Chelan sees around 300 sunny days a year, the grape growing conditions are ideal.

If you're planning a trip to Chelan this summer, stop by and enjoy a delicious Frosé (or two) on the patio.

And if you'll be spending a lot of time on the water, fear not -- the winery now serves Frosé to go, so you can take them with you.
