The Secluded Restaurant In Washington With The Most Magical Surroundings
No offense to the lovely Napa and Sonoma, but Washington wine country is second to none. Our vino receives international praise and esteemed awards, and the wineries themselves are breathtakingly beautiful. And if you're lucky enough to visit Tsillan Cellars winery in Chelan, make sure to enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant, Sorrento's Ristorante, where the scenery is just as magical as the food.
The winery and restaurant are Tuscan-inspired, and it shows.
The owner of Sorrento's, Dr. Bob Jankelson, fell in love with the food of Italy before he even discovered the wine. Dozens of teaching trips to Italy (what a rough job!) instilled an appreciation for good Italian cuisine paired with food-friendly wine.
The menu here is exceptional.
From the antipasti to the classic Italian entrees and scrumptious flatbread pizza, there's something for everyone. They also serve a delicious Sunday brunch, a perfect way to end a weekend in Chelan.
But what really makes this place magical is the scenery.
You'll be surrounded by incredible beauty on all sides of the venue.
Though you're just a few minutes from downtown Chelan and from the lake, you'll feel like you've teleported to a Tuscan villa.
Imagine having a sunny summer Sunday brunch on this patio.
No wonder OpenTable listed Sorrento’s Ristorante as one of the Top 100 Scenic Restaurants in America in 2014.
Sorrento's is open daily, all year long.
They serve lunch from 12-3PM, dinner from 5PM-close, and happy hour from 5-6PM. Sunday brunch is served from 11-3.
A day at Tsillan Cellars culminating with dinner at Sorrento's is a day well spent indeed. And if you're looking for an even more remote restaurant experience, head to Willows Inn on Lummi Island.
