We'd argue that the holidays in Tennessee are some of the most magical months of the year. Sure, you won't find spades of snow and ice around the state, but what you will find is a whole heap of holiday cheer and southern hospitality. These Christmas bars in Nashville have all managed to show out for the holiday season, and we're ready to eat and drink at every single one of them until the new year. If a visit to a Nashville Christmas bar is what the season calls for, here are four awesome options to get your eggnog on:
1. Santa's Pub
It's always Christmas at Santa's, but this festive dive bar is definitely worth a mention! You can't miss the vibrant red and green exterior and the Christmas-themed murals outside, but every holiday season they take it to another level. Enjoy the lights, the karaoke, and if you're lucky, you might even see Santa himself.

2. Noelle
Located in the heart of downtown, the Noelle Hotel offers a bar in the lobby, a bar up on the rooftop complete with heated igloos, and a special Christmas-themed bar at their legendary Hidden Bar. We can't tell you where it is (otherwise it wouldn't be hidden any more), but you should be suspicious of any closets marked "Storage" in the Trade Room bar.
No reservations needed at this secret bar!
3. Headquarters Beercade
Editors note: Headquarters Beercade is officially closed. When it comes to Christmas decorations, Headquarters goes all out. They have over 2000 feet of lights, not to mention all of the Christmas-themed drinks and the Christmas-inspired seasonal menu. While this Christmas bar in Nashville isn't a place for little ones, adults will definitely find their inner child coming out to play as they take turns on vintage arcade games. If you get the high score, you'll feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Be sure to check out their Christmas-themed festivities and photo ops.

4. Walden
Editors note: Walden has officially closed. Walden, in East Nashville, is cozy no matter what time of year you go, but when the Christmas decorations are up, it gets even more so. Their eggnog is rumored to be the best in the city, but if that's not your vibe, try the snowflake martini. It's out of this world.
Sometimes the holidays call for something a little stronger than your uncle's homemade eggnog! Fortunately, these bars and restaurants all have their own unique personalities and specialty themed menu options to choose from. If you've ever visited one of these festive Christmas bars in Nashville, let us know!
