The Brand New Restaurant In Pennsylvania That Locals Can’t Get Enough Of

While we can all probably agree that nothing compares to a hearty home-cooked meal as we gather around the table with friends and family, dining out promises some amazing experiences, too. Even though we've all got our go-tos for a delicious meal, sometimes we want to switch things up a bit and try something new. Pull up a chair, dig into a delicious meal, and feel like one of the family at this new restaurant in Robesonia, Pennsylvania.

There are just some places where, when we walk through the front door, we immediately feel at ease and instinctively know we're in for a pleasant experience.

Don't be surprised if the owner stops by your table to say hello. Guests rave about the friendliness of ownership and staff.

You'll likely get a good vibe as soon as you walk up the stairs to the front porch of The Henry P. Robeson House, a grand building from the 1820s.

Robeson founded the town of Robesonia, and the new Pennsylvania restaurant is the town's oldest building. The historic building was restored and opened as Henry P. Robeson House in June 2023.

Since it opened, the new Pennsylvania restaurant has garnered some pretty impressive reviews, with diners using such superlatives as "scrumptious," "slammin'," and "amazing."

Embrace that relaxed ambiance with a drink - a cold beer, a wine slushie, or a soda/pop - and an appealing appetizer. If you're not in the mood for wings, why not try onion rings, Henry's pretzels, or pierogis?

When it comes to your main course, you have a ton of tasty options. In the mood for something a bit lighter? A salad or wrap just might be the way to go.

Or if you're in a burger frame of mind, choose from one of a half dozen - classic cheeseburger, mushroom & Swiss, or patty melt.

Did we mention that The Henry P. Robeson House is also known for its scrumptious great pit beef sandwich? Be sure to stop by at least once to try it.

The menu's also bursting with good, old-fashioned comfort foods - southern-style pork chops, Mom Mom's corn pie, and slow-smoked pork ham - that will leave you absolutely stuffed.

All of that food is sure to fill you up, but - yep, there's a but - you cannot pass by a slice of the restaurant's decadent butter-iced chocolate layer cake.

If that doesn't get your taste buds in a tizzy, ask your server for the day's dessert specials.
