The Tropical Themed Restaurant In New Jersey You Must Visit Before Summer’s Over
Lee's Hawaiian Islander in New Jersey offers a unique Hawaiian-themed dining experience with tropical decor and cuisine.
Hoping for a Hawaiian vacation? I've found one, right here in New Jersey. A hidden gem, this spot may not offer gourmet dining, but it does offer a one-of-a-kind experience. It's unassuming on the outside, but the inside is a kitschy little slice of paradise. The decor and atmosphere are sure to transport you straight to the tropics.
Welcome to Lee's Hawaiian Islander, a quirky cocktail lounge serving up Chinese and Polynesian cuisine.
The interior is sure to amaze you with enchanting lighting, loads of bamboo, fresh flowers and more.
You'll find two levels of dining, complete with all sorts of Hawaiian-themed decor.
Expect to discover everything from tiki masks to tropical birds adorning the walls and ceiling. There's even a rock waterfall. When you're here, look up for an unexpected surprise.
There's a full bar featuring all the best tropical drinks...
Like magical Mai Tais, complete with tiny umbrellas (and plenty of booze). You can, of course, also indulge in a Blue Hawaii.
When it comes to food, try the PuPu platter! The boneless spare ribs and chicken lo mein are other favorites.
Enjoy some festive fun with karaoke on Saturdays and Hawaiian music playing over the speakers daily.
This spot is straight out of the seventies (it's barely changed since it opened in 1972) and a wonderful restaurant for families; some call it a Polynesian Paradise. You can find Lee's Hawaiian Islander at 768 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst. After your Hawaiian escape, check out this magical cave-themed restaurant in New Jersey.
