There Is A Massive Chocolate Festival Headed To New Hampshire In October

The Chocolate Expo in Manchester, New Hampshire, is a premier event for chocolate lovers featuring nearly 100 vendors with various dietary options.

For lovers of all things food, food festivals are the best way to enjoy new things along with old favorites. And speaking for myself, I don't know anyone that doesn't enjoy a sweet treat after a good meal. If this is you, here's one of the best food festivals in New Hampshire that lets you skip the main course and head straight for dessert.

The Chocolate Expo is one of the largest events for chocolate lovers in the United States. The first expo was held in 2006.

This year's New Hampshire location is in the state's largest city of Manchester at the Doubletree Expo Center.

The expo typically draws nearly 100 vendors each year, and visitors can sample and purchase their products.

Other vendors include those whose products pair well with chocolate, such as bakeries, wineries, farms, and specialty food providers.

Much like a wine tasting, the chocolate samples are bite-sized and are intended to be consumed right away. No grocery store candy here.

For those visitors with dietary preferences, there are also no-sugar-added, vegan, gluten-free, and kosher offerings.

You won't find the big-name candy manufacturers here, just small, independent, local and regional companies.

For more information, to see a list of vendors and entertainers, and to get your tickets for the sweetest of all the food festivals in New Hampshire, visit The Chocolate Expo website and be sure to follow The Chocolate Expo on Facebook for all of the latest updates
