Garden City is one of our favorite places to visit in Treasure Valley. This city has something for everyone from beautiful parks to nature trails and the Boise River Greenbelt. But, what many people don’t know is that Garden City has one incredible claim to fame — it is home to the Craft Beverage Corridor. Here, you will find more wineries, cideries, and breweries per square mile than anywhere else in Idaho. So, the question becomes … which one will you visit first?
Split Rail Winery
Split Rail Winery is one that you won’t want to miss. It is a small-production winery that makes all of its products with grapes from the Pacific Northwest. The highlight of each drink is the fruit and you’ll find both exciting and distinctive flavors with each sip.
Potter Wines
Potter Wines is the place to go when you want something just a little different than usual. Potter Wines is known for its jalapeno wine, which is a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet. Don’t forget to check out the bagged jalapeno wine lemonade that is perfect for your next outdoor adventure as well.
Powderhaus Brewing Company
Powderhaus Brewing Company is where you can find craft beers made from Idaho-grown barley. During your visit, you’ll find a variety of products that are available all year long, as well as several seasonal items that you’ll certainly want to try.
Meriwether Cider
This family-owned and operated cidery is where you can find some of the best cider in Idaho. Here, you might find things like blackberries or ginger in your cider but there are never any artificial flavors, essences, or added sugars.
Barbarian Brewing
The Barbarian Brewing Taproom is located in Garden City and it’s a must-visit when you are craving a cold drink. The beer here is made in small batches and packed with big taste. Plus, food trucks are on site Wednesday through Sunday each week, and well-behaved dogs are allowed to join you.
Twisted District Brewery
Twisted District Brewery is another destination along the Craft Beverage Corridor where you will find many unique and delicious brews. And while the drinks are incredible, so is this brewery's vibe. You will find two patios and an incredible menu featuring a mouthwatering 3-foot-long hot dog.
Cinder Wines
Cinder Wines is one winery you will be glad to check out. This winery actually sources its grapes from the Snake River Valley and the name of this winery comes from the volcanic cinder that is under many of the vineyards that Cinder Wines works with. The tasting room is open Wednesday through Sunday and reservations are not necessary but encouraged. However, reservations are not offered for groups larger than six people.
Western Collective
If you are wanting a great place to visit during the day, Western Collective is it. This brewery has a fun and relaxed vibe that will make it hard to leave. Here, you will not only find award-winning craft beer, but also boozy adult slushes. Make sure to attend one of this brewery’s unique events as well — they are a blast!
Telaya Wine Co.
Telaya Wine Co. is located right on the Boise Greenbelt, offering absolutely gorgeous river views. This winery’s atmosphere is classy and luxurious and the wine is also. Check out one of the tasting flights, glasses, or bottles during your visit — you won’t regret it.
Rolling Hills Vineyards
This family-owned winery is absolutely stunning. Step inside the tasting room where you can not only enjoy a glass of wine but delicious food as well. And while the tasting room is certainly beautiful, on warm days, enjoy a drink on the patio.
Par Terre Winery
Par Terre Winery may not have the extensive selection of wines as other wineries in the Craft Beverage Corridor but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worthy of your time. This winery hosts regular events and is one destination where you will feel welcome the minute you arrive.
Coiled Wines
Coiled Wines is one of the more well-known wineries in Garden City and you’ll find quite an assortment of options to satisfy any craving. This winery also hosts regular events or you are welcome to book the winery for your own private event.
Did we leave any wineries, cideries, and breweries on the Craft Beverage Corridor off our list? If so, which one? Let us know in the comments!
And, if you want to visit many of these destinations over the course of a few days, consider a vacation rental to help you rest and relax between each visit. You can find some of the best in Garden City and Treasure Valley on VRBO.
