This Bakery Arguably Has the Best Cinnamon Rolls in Florida

Visit Archibalds Village Bakery on weekends for unbelievably delicious cinnamon rolls, crafted from a treasured family recipe.

Fort Lauderdale has some of the state's most beautiful beaches, upscale shopping, and a thriving arts and culture scene. Florida’s “Venice of America” also has an extensive canal network and amazing food. It’s also home to some of the state's best cinnamon rolls. You may not expect to find heavenly wheels of flaky pastry dough and sweet cinnamon filling in this waterfront town, but Archibalds Village Bakery in Central Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serves them up every weekend.

Archibalds Village Bakery opened in 2021. Its co-owners, Justin and Chris, brought their vision to life together, with Justin working as chef and Chris selling goods from the bakery counter. Their travels inspired the bakery’s menu and peaceful vibe. Customers can’t get enough of the delicious food and welcoming service. The bakery was ranked third on Yelp's Top 100 U.S. Restaurants in 2023.

Chef Justin uses treasured family recipes passed down from his mother to create the mouthwatering baked goods for Archibalds Village Bakery. The family recipes are heavily guarded, and Chef Justin won’t share his secrets. The bakery’s pastries include Cream Scones with Jam, Croissants, Morning Glory Loaf, and Cinnamon Rolls.

The cinnamon rolls are sold on weekends (while they last). They’re as beautiful as they are delicious, with perfectly golden pastry swirled with rich, dark cinnamon. They have a remarkably fiery cinnamon flavor, balanced by the cool cream cheese frosting. The combination is dynamite, wowing those lucky enough to get their hands on one. World’s Best Cinnamon Rolls named them a top contender in their 2024 quest for the best cinnamon rolls.

Although the cinnamon rolls are legendary, Archibalds Village Bakery sells many more delicious dishes. Its breakfast menu includes an Egg and Cheese Frittata Sandwich, Quiche, and a Breakfast wrap with frittata, bacon, cheese, and avocado. Lunch options include a Chicken Salad Sandwich, Tuna Salad Sandwich, BLT, and the Toasted Ham 'n Cheese Deluxe. It also serves coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, tea, soda, locally-pressed juices, and more.

Customers can enjoy their meals indoors or outdoors. Bar seating lines one wall of the bakery’s interior. Archibalds Village Bakery has an extensive patio with several tables and chairs. Vibrant white and blue striped umbrellas create a festive atmosphere and shelter from Florida sunshine. Doesn’t this look like a wonderful spot to enjoy coffee and a pastry in the morning?
