The Montana Fresh Hop Festival Is The Perfect Way To Celebrate Fall

It's always beer season in Montana. The Treasure State's craft beer scene is hopping, and at one point, we even had more breweries per capita than any other state (and we're still near the top). That being said, we can't think of a better way for a beer lover to welcome fall than by attending the first annual Montana Fresh Hop Festival. Just wait until you see what's on the agenda.

This year's Fresh Hop Brewfest will be the first, and it's certain to be a big hit.

The festival will take plan on Saturday, October 19, at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman at 4:00 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Crooked Yard Hops and Gallatin Valley Land Trust.

Crooked Yard Hops provides local breweries with the ability to produce an entirely locally sourced product by providing them with fresh, high quality, and Gallatin Valley grown hops, making them a perfect sponsor for such an event.

Just $20 gets you entry into the festival, a commemorative tasting glass, and unlimited samples of local fresh-hopped Montana brews.

And with 15 Montana breweries to choose from, you'll have your work cut out for you.

Growing hops is Montana is fairly easy, and our craft beer scene has come a long way in the last decade.

It's about time a festival like this came to Montana.

Aside from all the beer, guests will be treated to live bluegrass music and tasty food from local food trucks.

This is going to be a party Bozeman will never forget.

The proceeds from the festival will benefit the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, an organization dedicated to conserving enjoyable open spaces and trails around the greater Bozeman area.
