HarvestFest Signifies The Start Of Fall In Montana

How do you celebrate the transition into autumn here in Montana? But if you happen to be in the Billings area on the second week of October, make HarvestFest your new annual tradition.

HarvestFest has been a Billings tradition since 2003.

The small seasonal festival has become a grand community affair that celebrates the changing seasons.

You'll find arts and crafts, children's activities, fresh produce, baked goods, and so much more here.

This year's festival will take place on Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HarvestFest is sponsored by Montana Brewing Company, which help keeps it both fun and free to the public.

Highlights include a parade, live entertainment, a pumpkin pie baking contest, and food trucks galore.

Come hungry if you want to win the pie-eating contest.

It can get pretty competitive!

While you're at the festival, enjoy live music from the best local fiddlers.

And don't miss out on the legendary Merchant Gift Basket Raffle, which always holds a tempting assortment of goodies from local businesses.
