This Restaurant In Louisiana Used To Be A Gas Station And You’ll Want to Visit

In Louisiana, there are definitely some restaurants in unusual places. It's amazing to me what designers are able to create with buildings that were never intended to have restaurants. Here's one of the most charming---the Filling Station in Lafayette, LA.

You can find the Filling Station in downtown Lafayette, at 900 Jefferson St.

It was a former Conoco station.

There are still some left over pumping stations inside the restaurant.

Really gives the place some charm.

It's an awesome place to pick up burgers and other american favorites.

And the drinks here are really delicious as well!

And the grilled chicken sandwich...

That is something really amazing that they have here!

The outside patio is an awesome place to hang out in when you're looking to de-stress.

And there are always friendly faces there to greet you.

So if you're looking for a creative restaurant with a real twist, visit the Filling Station.

You're going to be charmed by the old school vibe, I just know it!
