This beautiful boardwalk rises high above the marsh in Alaska’s biggest city. It’s an easy one-mile loop where you’ll see plenty of wildlife, including tons of moose and local birds. It’s a beautiful way to get out of the city without going too far. And there’s plenty of free parking available!

It’s an easy .8-mile loop, clearly marked and well maintained. Just keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife like bears, and enjoy the trail.

This easy .8-mile out and back trail in Wasilla will take you into meadow for beautiful views of the mountain range. It’s a flat, three foot wide boardwalk, with a very gentle grade of only 5%. Enjoy this stroll with the whole family!

Spot the flora, fauna, and Alaskan views at the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. This trail is a 2.6-mile loop that everyone loves, even the wildlife. Make sure you come dressed for the mosquitoes, and you’ll be fine! There’s plenty of parking at the trailhead. This is a great summer hike when you’re on the Kenai Peninsula.
