If you’re looking for a fun hike with gorgeous scenery, this easy loop trail in Alaska promises a great trail with views of Pioneer Peak. Located right outside of Palmer, this trail loops a gorgeous lake out in the Valley. You’ll want to take the whole family out to enjoy it!
Right next to the Knik River, there’s a quick, lovely little loop trail that will give you stunning views while you walk around a still lake.
You’ll pass over marsh areas, up small hills, and twist and turn your way around Reflections Lake. It’s a short hike, just over a mile long, and perfect for even the kids in your party.

Benches dot the area, and although the elevation gain is only 52 feet, it makes for a great place to soak in the peace. During the warmer months, you’ll frequently find someone sitting with a book or a cup of coffee.
