2. Steve's Burgers, Garfield
Scoring 5-star reviews on Google and high marks on Yelp, you'll love this roadside stop. Prices are affordable and the cheeseburgers are to live for. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Steve Burger (pictured) with onion rings and special sauce.
3. Loaded Burgers N BBQ, Garwood
Burgers are made to order, so add whatever you want. Toppings include bacon, avocado, fried shallots, 7 kinds of cheese and more.
4. Augie's Burgers, Wildwood
While the classic burger options are all scrumptious, the real stars are the stuffed burgers - burgers filled with peppers, mushrooms and more. Try the Bacon Cheddar (pictured) or Jalapeno Popper for a kick.

An old school soda shop with a modern menu, the burger selection is incredibly inventive. You'll love the signature seasoned burgers, with all seasonings hand made and blended in-house. BYOB (build your own burger) starting with 1 of 7 patties (including a veggie patty) and your choice of cheeses and toppings. Every bite is full of flavor.
7. Margate Dairy Bar & Burgers, Margate City
The beef burgers are made with a mix of angus beef, short rib and brisket. They are always fresh, never frozen and hormone-free. However, what makes this spot really stand out is the mouthwatering lamb burger. Turkey and veggie burgers are also available.
8. New Park Tavern, Jersey City
Jersey City offers a variety of fantastic burger joints, but New Park Tavern's burgers were voted the very best by the Jersey Journal. You can get almost anything on a burger here, including Taylor Ham. Reviewers have called it "burger heaven."

These angus burgers have been awarded numerous accolades including being voted best burger on the Jersey Shore by the Asbury Park Press and best burger in New Jersey by MSN. 12. The Pour House, Westmont (Haddon Township)
This casual beer bar offers a unique selection of burgers including the Great Western (bison, BBQ sauce, onion straws, cheddar) which can't be missed. Another favorite is the Second Coming (dry aged sirloin, chopped tomatoes, roasted garlic aioli, gruyere cheese, shoestring fries and a pickle), voted Philly's favorite burger.
