This Unique Restaurant In New Jersey Will Give You An Unforgettable Dining Experience
Collingswood is one of South Jersey's most popular destinations. This charming town has so much to offer, including incredible dining options. There are too many to name, but one local favorite really stands out - The Pop Shop. Only In New Jersey readers constantly recommend this spot, and it's easy to see why. Food and fun combine to create a truly unique experience, and the atmosphere can't be beat.
The Pop Shop Sign
You'll love the vintage vibe of this cafe & creamery. The decor is inspired by the 1950s and 60s, and the soda fountain and hostess counter are original pieces from the 1940s. Everything is bright and vibrant, with cheerful colors and unique decorations.
Pop Shop Interior
While the atmosphere is amazing, the comfort food classics and inventive menu items truly make this restaurant stand out. Enjoy all-day breakfast, build your own burgers, and over 30 different types of grilled cheese sandwiches.
Pop Shop Menu
While the seasonal and specialty items always stand out, the everyday menu is also pretty epic. A new favorite, sure to become a classic, is the lobster grilled cheese - lobster, brie and garlic aioli on sourdough bread.
The Sunset Sandwich
Everyone has a favorite menu item and with so many incredible options, it can be difficult to know where to start. The sunset sandwich, pictured, is always a good option, with jack cheese, fried shrimp, avocado, sliced tomato, and tomatilla on sourdough.
The 5B's, Inspired By Bobby Flay
This spectacular shop has unsurprisingly been featured on several shows, including Throwdown With Bobby Flay. This scrumptious sandwich was inspired by one of his creations and consists of brie, goat cheese,
applewood smoked bacon and tomato
on country white.
Favorites And French Fries
Other popular picks include Bill's Breakfast Burrito, The Falafel Waffle, and Panther Pride Burger. If you can down the Panther Pride, you can get your photo up on the Pop Shop website. And did I mention the fries? There are over a dozen different options including Louisiana Fries with Cajun spices and rémoulade sauce.
The desserts are to-die-for!
Cookie dough poppers! YUM!
Elvis Hot Chocolate
This specialty hot cocoa celebrates The King himself, with peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and a whole lotta marshmallows. Though this may not be on the everyday menu, the regular cocoas, shakes and frozen treats are just as sweet.
The Best Pancakes
Other things you absolutely need to know about The Pop Shop? Their pancakes were recently voted best in South Jersey by South Jersey Magazine.
