We give a lot of props to the delicious restaurants that line the Puget Sound, the Pacific Ocean and some of our more massive lakes. But there’s something to be said for relaxing over a meal with a view of a peaceful river. These riverside restaurants range from classy to casual, but they all serve great food.

1. No-Li Brewhouse & Pub, Spokane

No-Li opened in 2012, quickly becoming one of Spokane's favorite spots for a brew and a tasty burger. Its riverside location certainly doesn't hurt.

2. McMenamin’s Vancouver on the Columbia, Vancouver

You can't go wrong by choosing to enjoy a meal at a McMenamins location, and this one happens to rest right along the beautiful Columbia River.

This classic family-owned spot might be a little dated, but the entrees are hearty and the Columbia River views are perfect. The seafood fettuccine will warm you up on a chilly evening.

What could be better than classic American favorites served right on the Snake River? Needless to say, Roosters dominates the casual Clarkston dining scene.

The food at LU LU is great, and the views of the Columbia River are simply spectacular.
