Few people realize there’s an authentic English pub hiding right here in Virginia. Hunter’s Head Tavern is a beloved restaurant in Upperville that’s located inside a restored mansion from the 1700s. It all begin in 1750, when an early settler built the Carr Cabin. Today this historic building is the home of Hunter's Head Tavern.

Step inside and you'll feel like you've arrived to a local pub in the English countryside. The atmosphere is lively, cozy, and you can look forward to a fire in the fireplace when the weather's cold.

On the menu you'll find traditional English pub fare such as Welsh Rarebit, liver and onions, and pork loin sandwiches.

A majority of the produce used in the restaurant is sourced from Ayrshire Farm and other local farms.
