This South Carolina Road Trip Takes You From The Peachoid To The UFO Welcome Center

Explore a fun-filled South Carolina road trip featuring notable roadside attractions like the Peachoid and the UFO Welcome Center.

It's time for another road trip and this one is anchored by two of the state's most notable roadside attractions: the Peachoid in Gaffney and the acclaimed UFO Welcome Center in Bowman. In between these two fun attractions, we've added some other fun stops making this South Carolina road trip a full day of entertainment the whole family can enjoy.

The road trip gets underway over in Gaffney as we make a stop right underneath the 135-foot tower with a giant peach on top.

The Peachoid, as it's called, holds one million gallons of water.
