8 Underrated Towns Around Portland That Deserve A Second Look

1. Oregon City

Take a ride in the city's municipal elevator, check out the Willamette Falls, and delve into local history at the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Cute shops, breweries and restaurants make this a fun place to hang out with the family or friends.

2. Eugene

Visit the Cascade Raptor Center, shop at the Saturday market, or stroll the campus. This bustling college town has all the amenities and is plush with beautiful scenery and outdoor adventures.

3. Sherwood

Just south of Portland, Sherwood has plenty of charm. A friendly community makes it nice for a visit, and with the Tualatin Valley National Wildlife Refuge and Graham Oaks Nature Park in the city, a wetland experience is waiting for you here.
