The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District host a Chalk Art Contest in July. It's open to all ages and skill levels. Artists create art along The Prom and can win prizes.

The Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament has been happening here for over 40 years! Beach volleyball professionals and enthusiasts from all over come to compete at Seaside. It takes place August 7-10, 2025.

Seaside is also the endpoint of the Hood to Coast Relay. There's a huge celebration when runners reach the finish line of this 200-mile race in Seaside. Over 1,000 teams of 12 runners participate.

Summer in Seaside goes into September. The Seaside SandFest is full of incredible and artistic sand sculptures.
