This All-Day Float Trip Will Make Your North Carolina Summer Complete
High Mountain Expeditions offers a relaxing river tubing adventure on the New River in North Carolina, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.
Are you ready for the most fun you can have on the water with absolutely no effort? High Mountain Expeditions has a river tubing adventure that's the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day. Whether you're spending the day with family or friends, tie up together and create one of the best memories of the summer on this fun and relaxing trip down the New River tubing in North Carolina.
Your journey begins as you meet at the High Mountain Expeditions Outpost, where you'll check in. (Reservations are needed in advance.) From there you'll be transported to the launch site, a short distance away. And before you know it, you'll be on the river on a North Carolina tubing adventure.
Then, just lean back and let the natural flow of the river do all the work while you enjoy fun times. Be sure to bring plenty to drink — and sunscreen. Cooler tubes are available to hold your cold bevs and food. Be sure to tie everyone (and the cooler!) together...
...or you could end up like this person, stranded and trying to get back to the rest of the group!
River tubing is fun for the entire family. The kiddos will enjoy the day at least as much as you do!
And you can go at your own pace. Want to stop for a little shade? No problem. The float time usually takes up to three hours.
The entire adventure takes longer due to transportation to and from the outpost. You may want to pack a lunch for the cooler.
So "water" you waiting for?
