For many months prior, the townsfolk put lots of time, effort, and heart into getting their little slice of North Carolina heaven ready for the most anticipated event of the season. McAdenville is located approximately 17 miles west of Charlotte, making it a great day trip option for residents from the Queen City.
Everywhere you look, the town is completely illuminated.
You'll find over 300 trees ablaze in colors, making everything feel like an enchanting holiday wonderland.
One of the things that makes McAdenville so special at Christmas is the entire town also decorates their homes.
You'll see every type of North Carolina architectural styles you can imagine, each taking on a different an unique glow.

Families from far and wide make visiting Christmas Town USA an annual tradition.
Typically, most people drive through the town to enjoy the beautiful holiday lights and then park and get out to explore on foot
The official tree lighting ceremony will be Friday, December 1, 2023. Other holiday activities will include a Yule Log Ceremony and Christmas Town 5K, just to start getting you in the mood!
The town's very walkable Main Street and downtown area will also be bustling with activity, as usual. Lots of shops, galleries, and locally-owned restaurants will be open throughout the event. so come hungry and ready to do some Christmas shopping!
