The Oceanside Grill In This Tiny New Jersey Beach Town Is The Perfect Dinner Spot

Cape May is one of New Jersey's most popular shore towns but it has a year-round population of under 3,500 residents. The town also comes in at just 2.7 square miles - it's pretty tiny. Still, it's filled to the brim with charm, beauty, history, antique shops, independent businesses, and incredible restaurants. One of those incredible restaurants is a lovely oceanside grill that you won't want to miss.

Welcome to Harry's Ocean Bar & Grille! It's the perfect place to enjoy casual eats and drinks in Cape May.

The oceanfront eatery offers incredible views from its rooftop bar. (The only rooftop bar in Cape May!) It was even selected by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the best places to drink outside.

They're open seasonally for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. They specialize in local oysters and clams , lobster BLTs, and clam chowder.

Not into seafood? There's something for everyone! You'll find an extensive menu with omelets, cinnamon roll pancakes, chicken quesadillas, burrata salads, burgers, Asian stir fry, and so much more.

Of course, we can't forget about drinks! You'll find a mix of mimosas, margaritas (including mango), mojitos (try the Jersey Fresh Blueberry), wine, frozen drinks for hot days, and a variety of other cocktails.

The patio is the place to be on a summer day or night. They've even got live music from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m most evenings!

But, if the weather is less than perfect, you can always dine inside. We love the modern interior and fantastic photos lining the walls!

Also worth mentioning...there's a wine cellar on the premises and the eatery is Ocean Friendly. This means that they meet certain criteria including proper recycling practices, plastic straws available only upon request, and no styrofoam.
