You’ll Want To Book Your Summer Vacation Rentals By This Upcoming Date

Depending on where you reside within the United States, you’re most likely surrounded by snow and currently feeling like warm weather is nothing short of lightyears away. If you plan on taking a getaway this summer, you might be surprised to find out when the best time is to book your vacation rental.

Recently releasing their latest data, booking site HomeAway was able to narrow down when the best times of year are to book your vacation rentals. Travelers looking to take a vacation during the summer are urged to book their rentals during January, reportedly the busiest month out of the entire year, when twice as many people are looking at rentals. HomeAway’s findings also showed that by the time April 1st rolls around, nearly all summer rentals have already been booked.

HomeAway's data analysts also discovered the best times to book your rentals during other popular travel times throughout the year. Check out the helpful list below!

4th of July travelers should book their rentals by May 1st.
Memorial Day Weekend plans should be booked by March.
Thanksgiving rentals should be booked by the beginning of October.
Ski season getaways should be booked started in mid-October.
Christmas rentals should be booked at least three months in advance.
