The Ocean State is really embracing its name and inviting folks from all over to explore the stunning coastline without fear of sunburn. All the gorgeous state beaches and parks of Rhode Island will be equipped with arguably the most important summer essential: sunblock. Officials announced recently that they want to welcome visitors from all over while also providing protection from the sun's damaging rays.

We're not talking generic sunscreen, either. The beaches will provide a brand known as Raw Elements, which is reef safe and also features 20 percent non-nano zinc oxide.
