When Dan and Janet Abbott purchased the meadow in 2002, they wanted to share the space with others.

They had the bed and breakfast built not long after, designing it to look similar to Mount Vernon. It's meant to pay homage to George Washington and all of our founding fathers.

The staff prepares everything from local ingredients each morning. In fact, they often use culinary lavender from the on-site lavender fields.
